"Boise’s
Quality of Life is defined by our families, our economic prosperity
and the neighborhoods where we live.
I understand the challenges faced by our families, because
I live them everyday. You deserve a voice that represents
District 18. I will continue to work
hard for our community and find
solutions to the problems that
impact our families."

Proven Effective Leadership
I have served Idaho and our local community in matters of public
education and legislative affairs for the past six years providing
strong leadership in the advancement of key issues affecting the
lives of our children as well as the population in general. Earning
the respect of parents, administrators, business executives and
owners, legislators and elected officials by clearly defining issues
and resolution of problems. Simply put, I work to make things happen.
I take pride in serving the community and have given countless
hours of involvement in leadership roles delivering competent solutions
to the challanges we all face as parents and taxpayers.
As a mother, grandmother and daughter caring for my senior parents,
I bring a three generational perspective to the Legislature. Through
my connection with our community, business knowledge and personal
experience I clearly understand many of the issues we face on a
daily basis.
I will represent the families of District 18 and Idaho to attain
and maintain the values set forth in our Constitution to shape a
better Idaho.
My Beliefs
- An efficient government should provide the people with services
that are necessary and cannot be provided by individuals, the
most effective government is a government that is closest to the
people.
- Proper government is based on the individual and each person’s
ability, dignity, freedom and responsibility must be honored and
recognized.

- Free enterprise through encouragement of individual initiative
and incentive have given this nation an economic system that is
the best in the world.
- Sound monetary policy should be our goal.
- Equal rights and equal opportunity for all, regardless of race,
creed, age, sex or national origin is paramount. The elderly and
persons with disabilities should be afforded equal rights, equal
justice and equal opportunities.
- We must retain our proven constitutional principles, yet always
be receptive to new ideas with an outlook broad enough to accommodate
thoughtful change and varying points of view.
- Americans value and should preserve their feeling of national
strength and pride.
- Our written constitution contains the most important laws by
which a nation's citizens agree to live, and it outlines the basic
structure of our government.
